Privacy policy

Effective October 20, 2026

The short version: we collect very little, we don't track you, and we never sell your information. This policy explains what Dirt Cheap Licensing ("we," "us") handles when you visit dirtcheaplicensing.com or contact us.

What we don't do

Information we collect

When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include, such as your business name, device models, license details and expiration dates. We use it only to reply, prepare quotes and fulfill your orders. To place an order, we may share the necessary details with our licensing distributors and with Cisco, who need them to issue and register your licenses.

When you visit the site. Like nearly every website, our server and our network provider automatically log basic technical details for each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and running, and we keep them for a limited time.

Cloudflare

Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and makes it load faster. Cloudflare processes your connection data, including your IP address, on our behalf to do this. It may set a small security cookie that is strictly necessary to tell real visitors from automated attacks; it is not used to track you. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers and distributors needed to run our website and email and to fulfill your orders, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep emails, quotes and order records for as long as needed to serve you, including tracking your renewal dates, and to meet our business and tax obligations. Technical logs are kept only briefly.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't treat you differently for asking. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because we don't track visitors in the first place.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
